On May 30th, Revival Valley Ministries was pleased to be apart of the groups who pulled together the Intercessors Prayer Conference (conference site, www.tic2015.com), with the Potter’s Ministry along with other ministries.
George Otis Jr spoke in two sessions highlighting a few revival that have happened in the last few years across the world, common features of God’s moves and he sought to stir up the intercessors of Silicon Valley and The greater SF Bay Area to keep seeking God’s kingdom, but also how we can move and act in faith, not just in the words of our prayers, but in the actions in our lives.
The prayer conference also scheduled 6 hours of prayer over many topics of our culture, churches, city and the whole nation. It was dynamic time of pouring out our heart before God, and seeking to hear His word and heart for our spheres of influence.
A team of four prayer ministers from Revival Valley were also able to minister to the conference attenders. About 20 intercessors came to us to hear a word from God, receive a blessing or to have us prayer for healing or inner healing for what they might be going through.
Even during the conference, we were tracked down by a few groups of people, simply to have a specific word from God, or a blessing. Intercessors at times can be so weary from seeking the Lord, but areun-appreciated by the larger body of Christ. Some simple words of encourage, comfort & edification (1 Cor 14:3, the definition of prophecy), greatly restored a few who came for prayer.
Even though the conference was a time to seek God and petition for revival in the San Francisco, and the whole US, it was very satisfying to ministry to those who so faithfully minister before the throne of God on behalf of their families, communities, churches and cities.
