As each surrendered soul bows before the Lord, the wave of revival grows larger and stronger.
“See, we have left all and followed You.” —Mark 10:28
For a while now, I have been praying for revival all across Silicon Valley. That the Father’s Love would overshadow the hurts, pains, and disillusionments of each resident, that hearts would turn to Jesus, that the churches of Jesus Christ would manifest all that the Holy Spirit desires to pour upon us.
During a prayer meeting in Campbell, it was shared that, as it has before, that revival is like a wave that crashes over a land. A wave that brings both refreshment and newness, but also has the power to reshape, even destroy what should not be there.
While in prayer, we were asking the Lord, how does such a revival wave grow, where does it get the lasting power and momentum to crash deep inland, and effect lasting change?
It seemed like a wave was super imposed over a person in prayer, who was finally, truly kneeling in surrender to the fullest calling of God in their lives. Total abandonment to the joy-filled life of sacrifice of walking with Jesus.
With each ‘Yes Lord, I will follow You with my whole self‘,
With each ‘Yes Father, I will Love each as you love them‘,
With each ‘Yes Holy Spirit, I will go and say the words you have given me’.
With each of these, the wave grew bigger as the person joined the many others who had also said ‘Yes’ to the Lord. Not a Yes to the salvation of God, but a Yes the whole Gospel of the Kingdom of God. A Yes that leaves behind old priorities, old ways of thinking, and ways of living.
Revival starts in you today! You don’t need to wait for God revival to hit your neighborhood, church or city. God’s revival will pick up any and all who have already completely surrendered their lives!
Let us be like Peter of old and say:
We have left everything, everything to follow you Jesus!
And Jesus replies:
Jesus replied, “no one … will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age … and in the age to come eternal life. ~ Mark 10:29-30
Will the wave of God’s revival and His Kingdom grow because of your ‘Yes’?
