Ministry School Courses
- Prophetic Foundations (Fall 2020): God has spoken through the ages to people through audible means, visions, dreams, trances, miracles, signs, and small whispers. This course discusses Biblical examples of how God speaks. The course will then focus on the prophetic ministry, covering both the role of the Old Testament prophets and current role of New Testament prophets and the prophetic gifting.
- Healing Foundations (Winter 2021): throughout Scripture is a God who heals, Jehovah Rapha. Christ in many cases, healed all that came to Him. There have been many healing movements and healing ministers that have followed after Christ. The Holy Spirit is still working through a gift of healing today. The Christian faith is by virtue a faith that heals broken hearts and broken souls and bodies. The world notices when the power of God to heal becomes evident.
- Freedom Foundations (Spring 2021): The Christian faith is one of freedom because of what Christ has done at the cross on our behalf. This course will discuss spiritual warfare, overcoming spiritual opposition, each believer’s authority, and inner healing. Christ’s desire is for all to be free from oppression, torment, and demonization. This course will also cover modes of freedom and how to minister to those that are gaining new freedom.
- Spiritual Foundations: the love of God will be emphasized. This course will cover the Father’s love, the Son’s sacrifice, and the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. The basic foundational teachings of impartation, baptisms, and living the Spirit filled life will be covered. A strong emphasis will be on the new identity and victorious life.
- The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts: this course is a first course in the foundational work of the Holy Spirit in a believers life and ongoing partnership through spiritual gifts. An in-depth survey of spiritual gifts will be undertaken with the goal of having students learn about the Biblical foundations for the spiritual gifts and grow in their ability to identify when the Holy Spirit is at work through spiritual gifts in themselves and others.
- Church and Revival History: this course covers Kingdom come, which includes church and revival histories. There will be discussion on historic moves in the church from Acts to now. This will cover mission organizations, key people and their lives, and the different moves of God in the church.
- Leadership Development I: loving others will be emphasized, including the love of the Father and His heart for people. This course will focus on developing heart of a leader, as well as, the skill sets of leaders.Discussion about healthy leadership styles like humility, teachability, mutual submission, faith, and leading without controlling will be covered. This course will prepare students to be ready to join ministry teams and start exploring ministry opportunities in God’s Kingdom while honoring those around them. Further topics of leading a small group time, a ministry team, or basic one-on-one discipleship will be included. The student will be expected to explore healthy ongoing lifestyle that will be foundational to future ministry and busyness; like spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical balance.
- Leadership Development II: this course will cover the process of becoming a leader within the church body. This course will teach students how to empower others in the Kingdom, Kingdom culture, belonging to the family of God, and empowerment. Each student will look at how they are empowered and how they can empower others. This course will also equip students to lead discussion, teams, and other ministry settings. There will be a discussion on the work of apostles and apostolic movements in the Kingdom.
- Evangelism Foundations: This course will begin with a study of God’s heart towards the lost, that all might be saved, and Jesus’ payment on the cross that it might be accomplished. There will also be discussion on our part in the commission and being sent out into the world. There will be a focus on personal testimony and the testimony of Christ.
